Si's Matters

Si Boyle: The man behind "Si's Matters"
After dabbling in the world of sports writing for a couple of years I decided on a more 'informal' approach to blogging with this site. I have many interests and on this site I will share my thoughts on a wide range of subjects from sports, films, tv, gaming and life in general. There will be no politics though as I have no interest there and certainly no religion from a devout atheist.

I enjoy all motorsport but particularly MotoGP, BTCC, BSB and World Superbikes. I'll still write about things like Formula E and maybe the odd F1 bit now and again, especially if I fancy a flashback to the 1980s when the sport was at its best for me.

Football is another passion of mine and as a Chelsea fan I'll be writing about them as well as the upcoming Euro 2016 tournament. Boxing may feature now and again but UFC will certainly be here as I've been watching that for about a year now and really enjoy it.

Quite what I'll be putting here for film and tv we'll work out along the way. I know for a fact though that the gaming content will see plenty of FIFA blogs with updates and stories on career modes and reviews of players and teams.

As for the life element, I live in Wakefield in the north of England with my wonderful wife Shell and our two boys Ethan and Harrison. If we have a good day out somewhere then maybe I'll write a recommendation for that or even just a ramble on the joys of parenting. It will be a very mixed bag but hopefully something for everyone.
